How buying a Ghost works.

These terms cover orders placed through madebyghost.xyz. Placing an order means you accept them. If something here is unclear, email hello@madebyghost.xyz before you order.

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we email your confirmation. We may decline an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a price is clearly wrong.

A preorder reserves a unit from an upcoming batch. It is charged through Stripe when you complete checkout, and it stays fully refundable until your unit ships.

Prices are shown in US dollars and include any listed discount. Payment is handled by Stripe; your card is not charged until you complete the Stripe page.

If a price is listed in error, we will contact you before charging or shipping so you can confirm or cancel the order.

We ship to the destinations shown at checkout. Shipping is free on orders over $35. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees; carrier delays are outside our control.

Every Ghost comes with 30-night money-back returns. If it is not right for you, contact us within 30 nights of delivery for a full refund.

Return shipping for a change of mind is yours to cover. If a unit arrives faulty, the return shipping is ours.

Ghost carries a 2-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects. It covers the hardware failing in normal use. It does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, or units that have been modified.

Ghost keeps a machine awake. It does not change how hard or how hot that machine works. Battery life, thermals, and leaving a laptop running unattended are your responsibility.

Ghost is a standard USB HID accessory and hides nothing from your operating system or MDM. If your employer or IT team sets a policy about preventing sleep, follow it.

We stand behind the hardware through the warranty and return terms above. Beyond those, our liability for any claim related to a Ghost is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you place it. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
